This online memorial was created in loving memory of Christopher Booy, whose life story is told throughout this memorial website. Chris was born in New York, he was 3 days late, I remember swimming in the Atlantic Ocean the day he was due,on that very hot day in July, we could hardly wait for his birth, I was so ready for him, we all were, that was a most joyful day for us.He was the most perfect little boy. He was and will always be the sunshine of my life,as well as his sister Katie, she is my sunshine my shining star.Chis enjoyed time with his grandparents and family, when he was 4yrs.old, we moved to Virginia so we could settle in, thought it would be a great place to raise a family,he started kindergarten and graduated high school in 2003,Chris was a cub scout, boy scout and he earned his Eagle Scout in 2002, we were so proud of him. Chris worked most of his life, when he was small, I started nursing school and he and his sister would take the school bus from a friend who owned a Bait and Tackle shop, he spent so much time there, he just started working their I guess he had to have been only 10, he loved it there. I really don't know how he found time to make so many friends, he enjoyed skateboarding, snowboarded, riding quads, gocarts, jetsking, surfing, skimboarding even had a small business with his best buddie making skim boards. Chris graduated boot camp from the Coart Guard in 2005. Christopher loved life, loved the girls, loved the outdoors, friends and just having a good time, he never sat still, always on the go,he would do anything for anyone, they called him my "golden boy" I hope he knew how much we loved him, I would have given him the world if only he lived that long, I believe he just ran out of time,Chris had so much ambition, energy and life in him, he was just getting ready to live his dream of going away to scuba diving school to become an underwater welder,I guess the heavens needed him more than us. Please sign Christopher's guest book and let us know you came to visit. We will remember Christopher forever.
